I intended to craft a Danish pastry-brioche-strudel hybrid this past weekend. Forgotten breadcrumbs and broken concentration fated me to instead make a large, braided, pear-filled bun. Edible mishaps are perhaps the best kind, although the unforeseen fact that
it would invite more to follow was mildly frustrating, to say the least.
That bread looks so perfectly braided. I can never get the ends right!
