Kale chips are hardly a new snack sensation, but they never get old for me. This batch was rubbed with a blend of tahini, sriracha, shoyu, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, olive oil, nutritional yeast, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic and onion powders, oregano, and basil, yielding a delightfully spicy, smoky, vaguely pizza-like flavor.


  1. Do you remember the amounts you used? I would love to make these! I love kale and am alway looking for new recipes + methods.

  2. I use a solar cooker.  You can pick from the garden to the oven in one swift movement.

  3. Sorry, I don't recall the amounts. I usually start with a little bit of each ingredient and taste the mixture, adjusting it so that it forms a paste that is seasoned to my liking. I hope you're able to find a combination that works for you! :)
